    POD Fitting

    Hey all,

    I've got a 93 prelude and im planning to fit in a POD, the drama is that it won't fit onto the stock intake pipe..can i get an adapter to fit it into the stock intake out to a 3inch for the POD or do i need to get the whole intake system?

    firstly what pod is it? i know with the hks mushrooms and the a'pexi power intake offer a range of adapter sizes that bolt on to the back of them... Not too sure what the prelude intake pipe looks like tho

    why don't u jst connect a 3" stainless steel pipe at the end of the intake system? that should work. i got the pipe if u want it im in the west..

    y not just get the whole piping and save alot of trouble... there a few pipe on ebay going for like $70

    my mate installed my k&n pod filter, he just sawed off the airbox, squeezed the pod in and used clamps from the servo. hose clamps should do the job. it was a 94 jdm prelude.

    i suggest you get a k&n pod with a fixed i2 CAI

    Thanks guys/girls for you help i just bought the whole intake system with a K&N pod filter..saves me the hassle of DIY anyway yeah you guys were right about the POD dang engine response is awesome and VTEC has never sounded better

    my bought my car with the pod pushed onto a sawed off stock pipe.
    At first I thought the pod would be better then stock airbox.
    but having it there I found that, it was sucking not enough air same time it's hot,
    the power of the car dramastically changed,
    it started drinking more fuel.
