[Euro] Whiteline swaybar fitted

Hi all. Got my whiteline swaybar through Trav at Underground Imports

a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to fitting it. Very simple to do taking no more than 30 min. I simply jacked up the car on both side, with the tyres only about 10cm off the ground. Below I have detailed it with photos and a few pointers. Sorry about some of the photos not in focus but it was hard taking the the photos when close to the ground.

Step 1 - Undo bolts from clamps on both side of swaybar. You cannot get to the two rear bolts with a socket set due to the exhaust being in the way. You have to do these with a spanner.

Step 2 - Undo end bolts. I soon realised that you need to put an allen key into the end of the bolt to stop it from turning then use open ended spanner to undo the nut.

Step 3 - remove OEM swaybar. This took a bit of trial and error but It finally came out by rotating it while pulling the right end forward towards the front of the car.

Step 4 - Inserting the new swarbar went in the same way but with a bit of push and shove. The extra thickness made it a bit tighter.

Step 5 - Attach both end nuts to the new swaybar. Reverse of step 2 using the allen key and open ended spanner. Centre the swaybar as it can move around a lot.

Step 6 - Fit the new bushes and grease. Fit the both bushes first before doing up the bolts.

Step 7 - Fit the clamps over the bushes and reattach to car with bolts.

Below is a closeup of the OEM and whiteline swaybar. The whiteline swaybar looks bigger in real life.

Overall it was a very simple DIY job that anyone can do.

Next - take it for a test drive. WOW!!! What a difference. It was the best $200 I spent. I just took it for a drive anound the local streets and through some roundabouts and you can really notice the difference.

I can hightly recommend this mod and definitely get it though Trav at underground imports.

Your photos don't seem to be working dude...

Also, when they are working, I will move this to the DIY/Article section as you have wrote a nice DIY on it

Thanks, yes first time posting and took a while to work out how to get the photos to work. I tried using the Ozhonda gallery but the URL didn't seem to work so I used my web site. Cheers.
