    How many KM's?

hey guys, im just wondering what is the average KM's for a 94-95 Vti-r and if so what would be the absolute maximum kilometres these cars can withstand before needing an engine rebuild. Not taking into account how the car was driven ofcourse.

Id say a good low amount of KMs for a 95 would be about 110 000KMS. My December 97 has 95 000KMS.
I recon anything with above 140 000kms stay clear of.
Ive heard of people with DC2ś with 220 000kms.

    My '99 has 76,000k's, bro's '97 126,000, mates '97 110,000. When looking for mates car recently we found a '94 with amazingly 84,000 and a '95 with 94,000.
    Average I would say is 130,000 -160,000.

generally you calculate it as 15000km per year on average.
    anything around there is good

according to redbook for a 95' teg vti-r,
    Average kms: 120,000 - 140,000
    Trade in price guide: $9,600 - $11,500
    National average price - private sale: $11,100 - $13,900

so there you go hope that helps

Felix, think your being a bit optimistic!

95 model is 10 years old. Just to give you a fair idea. When I was looking for cars 4.5 years ago...100K or less was good.

If you work on average driver, drives 20 - 25K a year, then you'll see majority of 95 tegs will be over 200K. I think 15K a year, is very optimistic - especially if you live in sydney lol....

Mine's at 180K atm, because the last couple of years, I haven't driven as much, but know many people with similar aged cars well over 200K.

I guess it depends on how far you drive to work, etc.

    When i was looking there was a few 94, 96, 96 , 97s (gsi's and VTIR's) with around 100 000kms.
its optimistic but its ideal when buying.
