Thread: Squeeky clutch

  1. #1
Is there a problem with my clutch people?
Everytime I clutch in, I hear it "squeek". But after a few minutes of clutching, it goes away.
Any explaination? Major problem? Need oil somewhere?
Squeek is starting to pee me off :x

Sounds like you need to lube your slave cylinder rod.

    I had a similar problem.
But when i pushed my clutch in it wouldn't do anything, it just flopped and it took me about 5-10min of pumping to actually get any response from the clutch pedal. I took it to the mechanic, he adjusted some nut and i haven't had the problem since, although I don't think it is "fixed".

slave cylinder. there is piston in slave cyclinder that dries out you can lubricate over and over or replce the whole cylinder.
