    Rim and tire size question?

I have a 2000 model GSi teg electric blue

with 15 inch stock honda alloys with 195/55/r15 tyres

im looking at replacing the rims with some ROH Shift R in tuner gold in the 17*7
running 205/40/r17 (or wider if i can? can i run wider?)

Since i dont have a lot of power will i be like slower in the 17s than like the stock rims?

205/40/17 is wide enough for an integra, you can run 215 but no point to it unless you've got a BEAST under the bonnet

on 17"s yes you're going to notice that you're "slower" than when on your standard rims.

I just got some new 17" kickz for my dc2, they were 215 wide and they are constantly hitting the guard. Its slows down your car substantially, however saying that im very happy with how it looks. My advice is get sum nice 16" they dont look to bad and wont affect the car as much

I'm not sure where your located. But in NSW (and the rest of OZ, I think), That's gonna be illegal aswell. See we can only go 1 inch difference in height & width before it nolonger meets ADR. Don't have an at fault accident. Insurance can dump you, then you have to pay for everything.
Just something else to think about. It's not all just about performance vs looks.

Go with some light wieght 16's. The lightest you can afford/justify.

i ran 215/40/17 on my old gsi, had to roll the rear gaurds.

i also ran 205/40/17 at one stage... didn't notice it affected the performance of the car running 215 as opposed to 205.

    the 215's looked better, fatter

Well these EVO Regamaster are one of the lightest wheels around. 12.9 Ibs per wheel for 16's. That's like half the weight of my Buddy Club Racing P1's. But they aren't cheap.

    Just shop around.
    These are the colours.
