I get low kms per tank ... what can be wrong?!

no thrashing at all

How come like 1.6L Civic, well you guys are mostly talking about civics so I assume they are 1.6L most of them. I never do less than 420klm with like 40% redlining, but say 30% redlining I always do at least 440klm and thats in a prety stock DC2 ITR. I also drive it almost each day and a fair distance as well. I dunno maybe thats the way it is I guess
