Agreed. The only complaint i have is the bloody throttle response in 1st.

Well, I've had my car since new - and that's only 4 months. My complaints so far are:

    - 1st gear throttle response. Man I hate how jerky it is.
    - Sunroof switches. Shouldn't have to hold them down - at the least there should be an extra 'click' like on driver's window so make it go the full distance.
    - Speaking of driver's window - why aren't there 'auto' switches for every window? Is this too hard? My 11 year old Audi had them.
    - No MP3 standard with the stereo.
    - Sunroof mechanicals are too visible for my liking.
    - The boot should have gas-lift struts instead of the old style intrusive hinges.
    - I've had a couple of rattles eminating from the parcel shelf but they seem to have disappeared since I moved house - to a place with much less bumpy roads.
    - I would like a button that isn't on the touch screen to switch the A/C compressor on or off. It's not tactile as it is (aswell as two button presses) and I do it often enough to find it annoying.

Despite all those gripes I do love my car. The gearbox and clutch in particular are miles ahead of my last car and let me heel & toe with abandon!

16 inch wheel on standard Euro (facelifted model) not only too small but badly designed. 16 inch 5 spoke wheels on pre facelift model looks much better. That "tick" noise coming from driver door fitting that seems to loose. When VTEC kicks from 5800rpm I only have about 1300rpm to play with before it cuts out, should have been more.

throttle response is shocking from a standstill.

Trying to merge with traffic and putting the foot down and ....just waiting and waiting for it to get going is a bit of a scare sometimes.

This is an auto mind you .....dont remember my last car (camry) taking so long to wind up.

When the 04 Auto Lux changes gears, it kind of has a bunny hop affect, especially coming down in gears.

You should change the ATF, especially if it is an 04, eventhough the service schedule says that the ATF change is a long way away.

x2, even my 2000 camry has them

    Others include,

    No auto open/close sunroof function
Jerky ride at low speed (1st, 2nd gears)
A/C stinks every 5-10mins (recycled air) even thought the car's only 2.5weeks old
Sunroof rubber sealing sqeaks on rough road (easy fix but annoying)
I actually prefer the acelerate pedal's leg to come down from the top like the brake and the clutch, its easier to feel and control. The current one is too soft and hard to tell how much you've pressed.
Headunit/centre air vent and side panels r not perfectly aligned/flushed
Also I sometimes find it hard to put in certian gears for example sometimes 2 to 3 is smooth as silk and someimes its rough??

Apart from those I'm overall very satisfied!

I thought it was too light, now I have tein SS and 18's its even lighter. Maybe an EA falcon would have been a better option for you.

I have the Xcarlink which solves the Mp3 issue. This is better than my 2007 crv lux which has an mp3 3.5mm jack ( no control with steering wheel) or cd-mp3 which is a PITA to burn discs all the time. i prefer the xcarlink any day!
I went to the modded XR5 Turbo with Mods - the dark side.....BOOOOST!
