resonator OUT!!

just a quick question...takn out the resonator as iv done...is it any MAJOUR big defect.... coz iv did sum CAI with sum piping....

it is not roadwoth to took your resonator off...
I got pull by police b4 coz my car was too loud without resonator.....

should be fine , as long as you have either the stock airbox still in the engine bay or an enclosed pod etc.

From my experience, as Ben said, as long as you have a stock box, or your pod is fully inclosed it should be fine

a resonator is only another muffler. not all cars have one and u wont get introuble without it, only if ur car is too loud, i have 2 resonators and one muffler at the end, but im gona take out either one or both to make it a lil bit louder... its only major fines and stuff if u take out the cat.

the reason of the cat not only coz of reduce the sound, it use for pollution reason...

The resonator only affects NVH (and possible a bit of power)......I don't see how you can get defected for it ?

No offence but read the question first, he isn't even talking about the exhaust, his talking about the resonator in the stock air induction.

Take the resonator out its not a defect as i have had cops look at it and it was no worries, just gotta have the POD inclosed and fixed to the car.
