205/45 is the incorrect tyre size....you should be getting 205/40.

I have 7inch wide rims and it doesn't scrape at all, but I can't remember what offset they are (Could be a +42). That will be the key factor for you, but I am pretty sure that a +40 offset "should" be OK. But that said everyone seems to have different experiences.

If it does scrape, just fix it up...it won't be a major problem.

205/40 for 17 is ok... cos 16" is smaller i believe 205/45 should b ok... only offset must b correct to prevent from scraping..... before i had 205/50 in my 15".. it didnt scrape at all when i was using my spring... but after lowering the car more, the tyres scrape the guard....

Yeah it all depends on what it is actually scraping on.....If it is the guard, then you will need to look at rolling it.

It may just be something small, like a bit of plastic or something which can just been filed off.

You will just have to wait and see what the go is afterwards.

yeah.... If you are getting 17" according to Hyper Rev the offset should be +25 and the tyres used should be 205/40/17. For 16" the offset should be +38 with 195/45/16 tyres. This are the perfect sizes for the Jazz according to Hyper Rev

That is a pretty aggressive offset (+25). You will experience scraping with that for sure! (More like guard damage)

I had +35 with 7" wide Buddy Club P1s and that was bordering on sticking out beyond the guards. (Unfortunately I never got to drive it with the wheels on though)

I am pretty sure that I am now running +42 with 7" wide wheels and there are no issues at all...the tyres don't even come close to hitting the guard
