    *swooshy* noise

Just got back from a night drive and since it's late I just drove really slow.

I had my music playing really quiet and then when I stopped at a light, all I can hear is this water swooshy noise....I thought it was my car cleaning stuff in my boot but it wasn't coming from there.

I also though it was the coke bottle that's unfinished in the back, but it isn't....I then put my ear towards my gear stick and can hear it from there.

iirc, isn't the gas tank underneath the car?

yeah it may have just been your fuel moving in the fuel tank.

i have never heard the fuel...maybe my exhaust and intake are too loud?!

I'll have to pay attention to it next time, but it makes sense. I wouldn't worry about it.

I hear the fuel swishing around too on quiet nights. I noticed its loudest when the tank is about 2/3rds or 3/4s full.

most people(everyone) find my intake annoying because it has this high pitch noise that builds up and sounds like a little pissy boost but OMG the car sounds good when cold
