    Strictly speaking, a kilogram is a measure of mass and litres are a measure of volume. Weights vary according to how far you are from the centre of the earth. Unless you're changing the laws of physics, I would think 1 litre of fuel would still be 1 kilogram.

    You may be thinking of its density -- which is less than water and so it floats on top (I think)...

    im fairly sure a litre of fuel is lighter than a litre of water and a litre of water being 1kg.

    hey Baboo, where can u weigh ur passenger car in BNE? I would like to find out how heavy my IS is?

    I think 90 KG is a significant difference after u strip the interiors.
    I can feel a big difference when I carry my 90KG friend!
