    Very different

hey guys...before i ask my questions..i have done a search on type r facelift..but didnt manage to get any answers

i'm sure most of you honda owners know that the EK type R front lights and our OZ EK front lights are different.. (JDM front lights are sharper and the tip are closer to the front grill)

so does the 99 or 98 model front lights are the same as JDM ones? or one have to find JDM headlights, and bonnet to get the TYPE R look??

layman's term: how to get the type R front look ?

basically there is a facelift for EK during yr 98 to end of EK series..and the civic type Rs follow the facelift as well....onli diff is the internal of the JDM front lights is black instead of chrome

So what Civic do you have?
    96-98 or 99-00

The Civic Type R came in two different shapes

    96-98

    Or

    99-00

The Civic Type R lights from the 96-98 can go into any 96-98 Civic
The Civic Type R lights from the 99-00 can go into any 99-00 Civic

96 lights will not fit 99 and 99 lights will not fit 96

If you want a 99 front on a 96 you have to swap fenders, bonnet, lights, front bumper and cut some of the sub frame of the chassis

Same applies to put a 96 front on a 99
