NEW EG CIVIC owner - some questionz

    hey everyone,

    just a little about me:
    -im from melbourne (east subz)
-i also own a my05 wrx (turboback, ecu, intake, debadged and rice stickers :P)

i just purchased an eg gli civic 94 model yesterday coz of the rising fuel prices so i cant really afford to use the rex as a daily driver no more....

just a few questions about civics cos im new to da world of NA cars.....does my model have VTEC?
also im putting a DIFF-BACK exhaust on it tommorow mainly cos of the sound as diffbacks dont make any difference to performance....u guyz know of any reputable n cheap garages in MELB?

also have any of yous seen the jetspeed kits for eg civics, they look pretty hot...

im also gonna debadge the "civic gli" sticker thingi on the back to make it look abit smoother.

    nice to meet u all!

    lol... ok then
if you do a little searching in these forums somtimes people sell 2nd hand exhausts and headers, i just sold my axel back last week!
also if you look in the tread TECHNICAL, you can ask the same question about exhaust shops!

1.5 ???? omg thats shit....i thought it was just 1.6 but wit no vtec.....LOL guess i cant really get any potential outta it even with heavy mods....

i get 175kw ATW in my rexxy with a 3inch turboback running high flow cat, unichip, CAI and thats with a conservative tune.....expectin around 50KW ATW in the civic? lolz

p.s. sound of the vtec is awesome gets me all fuzzzzy inside

mate i get only 300-350kms on a 60 ltr tank in my wrx, also it uses premium and at the prices these days, nearly $1.50/ltr i think its a smart investment :P

also i didnt think u hav understood me in terms of modding.....i said i would do an engine conversion IF i had the money, for now i am just gettin a AXLEBACK lol and mayb a kit (these 2 will cost roughly $1.5k, the kit includin fitting n painting - correct me if im wrong)

Also considering my WRX's insurance was roughly $4500 comprehensive per year....and the civic will only be a few hundred bux, i think i have made a smart choice

hey paulosportz, i see a front mount on ur civic - turbo huh? newayz, how much KWATW? how much boost u runnin? 1/4 mile time? im pretty interested n da carbon fibre bonnet lookz hot!

yeah i get about 350 full tank on my car too.

its only about $20 extra per week but i dont think ill purchase another car cause of these gay fuel prices.

    6psi: 100atw
    10psi: 122atw
    1/4time: not yet
bonnet: not CF, its stockie painted black

    =]
