    Falken Tyres

    FK-451
    Zeix-326...

Anyone use these... can recommend anything better if so or around the $200 each mark(18s)?

the falken 326s are hopeless... I tried them once and it's like drive on plastic toy car tyres wouldn't recommend them at all...

haven't tried the 451s so can't help you there but don't get the 326s IMO...

I'll probably stick to the Yokohama range as I find them quite good...

I wouldn't touch Falken tryes ever again. Had some on my lancer and they sucked big time, esp in the wet.

it seems apart from the azenis RT215's or the new "sports" coming out - the falken range isnt too good ?

I would steer clear of the Falken Ziex range also. They are attrocious in the wet. I mean, if you want tyres that last a lifetime then yeah..go for it, but if your thinking safety...then give it a miss....they seem to be ok on the smaller cars though, anything the size of a teg or heavier I would give it a miss.

I'm using dunlop fm901's and also dunlop direzza's. Not in the price range you mentioned unfortunately but I haven't had any problems with them, I'm quite happy.

I wouldn't go the ST115' falkens either, as I've heard they are an ok tyre but don't last that long with wear.

The FK451's are supposed to be one of the better Falken tyres and handle better in the wet, but haven't tried them.

I've got ze326's 205/40/17... i wont be getting them again. I dont recommend them.

yes they do last a long time, but have average traction in dry, very slippery in wet.
