    Purchasing an S2000

    Hi Guys,

I'm selling my supercharged DC5r, and moving into the world of convertibles. Is there anything I should look out for when buying an s2000.

I'm looking for low k's, 03+ black, with red leather. Anything in particular I should look out for ?

    Cheers

when purchasing 03 model theres not much to look for as all the flaws of the earlier model have been fixed. ie the clutch buzz, crappy plastic window and master cylinder problem.

was told by someone a while ago that it usually gets replaced around the 40000km as their is a glitch with it...but then again could be bs.

the noise is from the clutch wear plate.

Just speaking to a friend of mine who owns an S2k, and supposedly they tracked it down to being the springs on the clutch disk not being up to scratch
