    Wheel Offset for EM1

    Hi Dudes/Dudettes,

I would like to ask what's the biggest offset wheel you can have for an EM1 ? Any owners with experience would like to enlighten me ?

Is +35 the furthest you can go ?

    Thanks.

(Attn Mods, I thought about putting this thread in Sus/Handling but since it's EM1, I've placed it here. Feel free to move it, thanks).

+35 is ok but depending on the rest of ur setup (i.e. tyre profile, rim size, suspension - lowering) u may experience scrubbing on the guards.

i would imagine if u r stock height with 17" with tyre profile of 40, then shouldn't scrub. if u r planning to lower, maybe say more than an inch, better stick with +42 offset if 17".

offset is directly affected by tyre/rim width..... u can work it out..
the offset number is how far its from the center... 40 offset is 40 mm from centre... and stock wheel width is 5.5 or 5"..........
