Civic Coupe won't come out here purely as it will undercut Integra sales.

I would have thought they would have priced this vehicle in the 23-24k range.

For 28k, I'd rather just fork out another 6k and get myself a Euro.

The VTi-R hatch was good value at the time with a superb engine with no rivals. My old EK Civic CXi hatch, which I purchased new was 20K with options - great value.

At this price point, with good competition from the Mazda 3 SP23, Corolla Sportivo - Honda need to bring out a product to appeal to that 20-30 group.

they also have a very small price range to fit the car between
lower is the jazz (24 for vti-s)

higher is the accord euro\ accord v6 \ integra (low 30s)
last thing honda wants is to compete with itself so i think the pricing is somewhat reasonable considering

That's where' you're wrong.. yes they axed the VTiR Coupe because it conflicted with both the DC2 Type R and the DC5 integra, however in MY2007/2008 I expect the coupe to arrive in AUS as Honda intends to axe the Integra (may possibly be re-branded RSX when Acura are released in AUS) and fill the hole with the Civic.

not having a go at you, but what makes you "expect" the coupe to come here in AUS, and Honda axeing the integra line.
