Paul1985: yeah checked out hasport.. unfortunately they don't support my model car (only the 1988-91 civic/CRX), but that won't stop me from copying their engine mount designs

Heres a pic of the car in question

very nice, that thing would f%^&ing fly. great project, im very interested in seeing how u go, be sure to keep us posted. i recomend checking out this site.. http://www.karcepts.com/
his company sells shifter mounting kits, which is a must IMO. The problem is they havent got one for your model car yet, but people have bought the Karcepts Shifter Mounting Kit for the EG and managed to modify it to suit your model civic. Send the guy an email asking about this, he is a great guy and will help u out greatly. This will save u having to do alot of work and cutting into your firewall etc and of course mounts your shifter in a great position. Its also only $175 USD (not shipped)

Did u end up checking out hybrid-racing? they got alot of great products that would help u and Will, one of the people who runs the place would do anything for his customers. Things that u could source from there are.. conversion harness (unless u are a wiring freak!), axles, radiator gear (needs to be relocated). They can also supply u with other brand parts such as AEM, Golden Eagle + heaps more incase u need other gear for your swap.

thanks for that man... hahaha shit my car is 300kg too heavy then to run the same time on the same sort of motor (not considering how much torque and what rev range u made the kw of course)

Paul1985: I've actually known all the web sites you've listed for quite a while now (as I've been wanting to do this coversion for about a year), but thanks for letting me know. As for the karcepts shifter mounting kit I've got a fully stipped interior and have no problem cutting the firewall so it wouldn't be much use. Are you gonna do a k20a conversion? Seems like you've done a lot of research in this area.

Yes chuck is the previous owner of this car. He developed a great little car built for speed.. it just needs to be fed with power.

I thought a k20a front cut would run alot higher than that? Many kms done on the engine?
