    this cheap ebay mod worked!

hey all, i bought this mod from ebay, stuck it on my h22a and it worked. more power, better fuel economy.

    go figure.

all it is is a resistor thet u plug into the IAT sensor.

I took it off after a week and i noticed a drop in performance so i put it on 5 dys later and the car went better again!

it just burns more fuel at any rate of air intake or temperature.

I have heard many bad things about this. But let me know if your car still runs well after few months.

i heard that too but I thought id try it out anyways. What are the many bad things you have heard? Is my car going to detonate or something? Even if it was, ive got a knock sensor to make sure it doesnt.
But I'd like to know what the chances are of engine failure are with this mod.

the thing is, my car runs really rich, if you give it full throttle it blows black smoke like a turbo car ( it did this as soon as i swapped in the jdm h22a and ecu )

With this resistor it only does it a little bit at WOT and it makes a noticable decrease in fuel consumption.

Whats interesting is that the IAT sensor on a accord/prelude is in the plenum but the IAT on a civic is in the air intake but you can buy the same mod for both cars ( this mod is universal for any car with an IAT sensor ) ive got CAI anyways, so the air the engine is cooler than stock air box or SRI.
