    Question EK Shocks Question

    Heya Guys just a very quick question for a friend of mine ..

    He is getting some springs put into his EK1 and he was just wondering
    If he gets a set of Eibach Springs .. and puts them onto EK1 shocks will the ride be exactly the same (comfy/handling) as if he were to purchase some EK4 shocks and put the springs on them?

    Thanks in advance guys

    Overall ride comfort depends on the spring rate... but to control excess movement such as bouncing or the spring itself, a good set of dampers would solve that problem indefinately provided they're valved properly.

    EK4 = EK1 shocks

    lowered springs will increase road bump feel and kill shocks quicker.

    i thought ek4 springs were stiffer than ek1 springs? anywho, eibach would give you better handling, however you mite be feeling more bumps in your ride, if you have the money, change your shocks too

    Yes, EK1 shocks and EK4 shocks are the same.
