i got a pretty much stock 92 delsol, only mods were pod (in engine bay)
and no muffler. car got about 175k on the clock, and got 79.8kw@wheels
on a dyno dynamics dyno (worn out clutch) dont know if the clutch effects the dyno result though???

that definalty not right
mine was dynoed in melborune at
MSC Performance 43 Radford Road, RESERVOIR
thier pretty good didnt cost much either went on a dyno day with
many other cars

Guys again as stated before it all depends on the dyno and the person doing the dyno, you can get a variance between 20-30kws, if they want to show you those figures. Most places will push up the figures slightly to make you happy. As stated, get another stock b16a, dyno using the same setting and see the difference. Alot of things can affect the car, eg. fuel, tyre pressure, temp on day, worn tyres.... the list goes on.
The only way to get it as precise as possible is to dyno one after another, and maybe even do 2-3 dyno runs and get an average.

How much does it cost? is it different if I dyno my car alone or with many other cars?

i went with a group, like 20-30 cars turned up on the day, and it cost me around $35, not realy sure how much it would cost if ur dynoing by urself

dyno run is about $80, that's a single run i believe with a graph.

Well... I dun know whether which dyno results are the real for B16A.
My EM1 B16A stock did 99.75kw on the dyno (conducted by BD4s, Gladesville)
Here is the dyno graph for my Civic on stock....

i got 130hp@wheels (approx 98 kwaw) in my 97 del-sol
thats with full x-force exhaust.

Don't think anyone has commented on this yet, so i will. The power ratings in which manufacturers provide are rated @ the flywheel which is different to power at the wheels as it doesn't take power loss (through drivetrain) into consideration. The D16Y4 is rated at 88kw but throw it on a dyno and you'd probably get roughly 50-60kw maybe.

a japenese ef8 (ys1 tranny) tested stock pulls 134-136hp at the wheels 99.92-101.42kw
