driver's vary, tyres vary, weather varies.... this makes the time vary.

high 15's -> low 16's is the ballpark.

This is so true mate, when car magazines take the cars for the 1/4mile it is always in an unrealitic environment -- flat track on a 10degrees day, no major winds, empty car, A1 driver, you name it .. so the result will vary heaps when you take it to the streets.

goto eastern creek during the week and find out. It also depends on the driver, which can count for as much as 1-2 sec difference.

    i doubt the 0 -100 time is round 7.6 - redbook states the 98 vtir completes 0 -100 in 7.9seconds.

however 16 seconds q/mile sounds realistic

yeeh probly but then again redbook also states that the straight 6 cylinder standard commodores do 0-100 in 8 seconds.. and no way thats true.. they do like 9

I know this is old now, but my CXI 97 model civic with 88kw ran a 16.3 1/4 mile, I just baught a GSI Integra with 107kw and not much more body weight, I would assume it'l be pulling mid to high 15's

    I HOPE
