    25psi in a ek1?

    Hey all,
Just trying to weigh up options, I got a 99 ek1. I am going to be doing either engine conversion or turbo mine. I am just wondering what would need to be done to my car to run high boost(internals wise). I want to run as much boost as possible. I know the turbo will play a big factor to that aswell. Just wanna hear your guys thoughts are worked internals for d series engines (non vtec d series) cheaper then b series?
    Thank you all

if i were you il forget about the d series and go for a b series like b16a you will get much more for what you pay for from it,i hardly see any d series mods around maybe if you can import them from the US

my old engine was a B16A turbo. it only had pistons and rods, minor head work and was putting out around 550 Fw Hp at 30 psi. i NEVER blew the motor in 3 years of racing, just everything else, g'boxes, shafts (plenty) etc. etc

americans have done hi-boost d-series. ud have to do sleeves for that kind of boost level though, so its alot of money... part for part though, d-series will always be cheaper.

in the end, 30psi means no traction, in any gear, on street tyres. get a realistic goal.

Two turbos, is better then one.
