    EG sway bar question

I have some question to get aftermarket rear sway bar!

I think EG sedan si came with sway bar! for 14mm....I asume

if I am going to get a aftermarket one without getting a mounting bracket ...what size of bar I should get ( it mean that to keep to use the existing mounting bracket for the new sway bar)
    ???
    thanks

do not use the STOCK mounting for other swaybars - ONLY for the stock rear one.
If you get another rear swaybar ( 18mm or 20 etc) please purchase the proper mounting hardware to go with it ! check out www.whiteline.com.au for further info -

using a larger sway bar ont he stock rear subframe mounts will cause the mounts to tear out of the frame, doing plenty of damage

correct - do not learn this the hard way... even with the correct reinforcement a 22mm swaybar or larger can cause damage...

stick to a 19mm with uprated bushes and it will put a smile on your face.

my past experience with STOCK reinforcment + a 18mm swaybar lead to the mounts being ripped out on my EG5.(18mm rear bar using stock mounts + thats it.Direct bolt-in) This leads to my thinking -

"stock use for stock application ONLY"

Be 100% safe and get proper reinforcement/mounts !

slightly off topic, but is there any advantage in changing the stock front swaybar to something aftermarket?

same idea as rear, front is a little different to rear and ITR front can be used with uprated bushes. 24mm or sth like that from memory?
