    100% k&n.
    had one in my s15 got it tuned with it,
    when it was idling i take it off made no difference to idle.
    tried my mates foam filter(had just been cleaned and oiled)
    car staled!!!!

    get the universal 3' neck adaptor.
    non crome one.
    they retail for like 90bucks
    rated to like 400hp i think

    yeah i got the universal 3" one, the one how it's wide at the top and gets narrow down to where it connects to the intake pipe..thats all good yeah?

    i got the K&N stock replacement air filter, then im going to run a ram air intake. sometimes if done wrong the cone ones suck in alot of engine air, which isnt helping it much.

    keep in your air box tightly sealed so it dont suck hot air in.
    make up some piping to go under your wheel guard to your airbox and seal it tight so it only draws air from there away from your engine bay.
