car cigarette lighter?

Hey just wondering if anyone knows much on how to fix one?
Cause i checked and i have power running through it but it wont work to power anything or even heat up a cigarette lighter!

cheaper to buy a new one... you can get them from auto barn, or even kmart!

nah mine didnt work....found that the previous guy took it out to install his head unit or for some other reason and all i had to do was plug the power to the back of the lighter......otherwise u can just buy a new one for like 6 bux at kmart for the little unit
