    seem formula 1 cars are slow in the first gear. but in the second and up they pull like crazy

    bit unfair on the boat to start from a standing cossidering it is prop driven and also the bouyancy in the water would mean that it could move backwards forwards or sideways whilst waiting for the go

    The boat had a full pelt run up, it was travelling at speed when the bike and f1 took off

    yep.. bike had a 70mph (top speed is 75mph) rolling start
    still... there was no contest to begin with....
    only the bike n car were racing... n after the first 100... pretty much game over bike...
