What do you want from the car? Something quick? Do you like straight line speed or hitting the corners? Do you want a practical car or one that sits on 4000rpm at 110km/h on the freeway?

On that budget you might find a nicely kept DC2R. I think you will be pushing the budget though.

    If i had a lazy $20,000 lying around, i'd get a DC2R for sure!

98 model of what compared to 95 model of what?

ITR's didn't come out till '98 from memory. If you are comparing two GSi or VTi-R Teg's then not too much of a power difference. The main differences were cosmetic.

I would personally get a Late 96+ 200sx Series II. They go for about $17k onwards. Nice car and it'll look even better lowered with a kit.

    or

Get a 1998+ WRX. Should be low 20k if you look hard enough..

i've got a 96 vtir, and i personally would get a 200sx 97-98 mid-spec or hi-spec(luxury). The low spec does not have abs from memory. Or a 180sx 98 model type x, although these go for slightly higher than 20G's.
