the manual 300zxs have a really tall first gear (so does the prelude, but not as bad), so with a perfect launch in the prelude, I get about a length on the 300zx at 90km/hr.

i didnt launch at second gear rolling start from about 60k's in 3rd

Then, being a B16a, you'll get lunched... The 300zxs have too much torque from then on. Try a standing start, you should remain pretty close. Plus, being auto, it prolly dropped to2nd, which is a big dasadvantage to you.

Thats not too bad, but your catching the 300xz where it likes to be.. they like to have momentum before they accellerate

I had a drag this afternoon against a NA Supra... they are simillar but slightly quicker... Still beat it

Doubt it.... I only lose to Jon with a dead clutch and bald tyres... a fixed scenario

Guestlove used to own a 95 N/A supra, he ran 15.4 with 18in wheels

he says he has kept up with a few DC2R's

the 300zx could of been a manual, couldn't tell coz it was stock standard
