    try removing the CAI and replace it with the old one. See if that resoloves the problem first.

    why dont you check your iacv (idle air control valve)? if your car has done a lot of kays, this might be causing idle problems...

    otherwise it might be that you have bumped off some vacuum hoses somewhere... g/l!


    are you using the stock throttle body?

    go and see ur honda dealer they can fix.. i had the same problem with my old eg too..

    sounds liek a vacuum leak and a sensor is not reading properly...make sure there is no air leaks and that all wires are connected etc ~ prehaps ur MAP sensor is alittle loose etc ?

    Thanx for the info guys..!!

    I just had to reset my ECU and that fixed all the probs. The VTEX kicks in when it should...

    ur engine check light SHOULD be coming on everytime u start the ignition. its ONLY a problem when it STAYS on.
    when do we hit vtec?
