    you really should be using a relay and a fues.

    get an automotive relay from jaycar

    cat #

    and geta relay base while your there

    I've hooked up my foggies onto my car and is fairly easy.
    However i had the wiring harness so it was plug and play. But I may be able to assist with creating a wiring harness from stratch so long as I can see the base electronic diagram to refer to.

    i got mine in and working with the help of a mate... BUT they work for only 5-10mins then the fuse blows we have searched theu to find a problem but cant seem to
    any ideas? ive blown 15amp fuses up to 30amp

    lol u need the relay. on my old car it use to turn the lights off when the car would turn off and only turn on if the headlights were on at the same time too...

    anyway when my mum bought her lancer she had foggies wired up ur bodgy ways and the switch kept getting hot, didnt feel too safe...

    The thicker the better.

    Also using a relay makes sure you don't actually blow your switch or anything else that is apart of the wiring.

    Its easy and cheap. Just do it.
