    Exedy clutch kit for ZC?!?!

hey guys, can't find an Exedy clutch kit for my EF3. no catalogues list any 89 Civic's as having a ZC motor, are there any other engines that this model is compatible with?

    looking for a HD/Sports Organic/3-puck

    D16A8 - same as ZC.

ZC is JDM therefore local catalogues won't show it. But a D16A8 will be shown.

I think you just couldn't find them as ZC isn't an engine code listed in Australia - if you were looking around australia for them.

otherwise im sure there is more than 1 trader on here that has them.

check the clutch bearing as it might not fit, might need to purchase one from your local Repco.

hmm.. thanks for the help guys.

i was a bit worried because i called Western Clutches and i was told that i they 3 different clutches for my car and they have no idea which one it is till they pull out the actual clutch. all the traders who are authorised dealers can't be contacted and i keep getting the same story with which clutch it actually is.

i know that the D16A8 is the AUSDM of the ZC, just wanted to make sure.

btw, i have been quoted app. $450 for a Daiken HD clutch kit installed. opinions on that price? i was actually thinking of going Sports Organic, do they have this for my model?

Daiken is the locally prepared version of "ëxedy" ~ $450 is a pretty good price for the heavyduty one installed.
And , AFAIK the organic style clutch is only for B series + others , not D series.
Just stick with the "HD clutch kit".
