V-Tec Controllers

Got a CRX SiR 1990. Thinking about a V-Tec controller.. wondering what people think?

How much? Worthwhile? Can they cause damage etc.

From what i gather all it does is allow V-Tec to kick in whenever you like in the rev range.

absolute rubbish for stock cams. dont waste your money. your stock crossover is optimised for your stock cams - making it cross earlier so your 'fully hectic vtec yo' will just make your car slower

until you get new cams then you should think about it - even so a stand alone or hondata would be better value than the vafc
