also the h22a may be mounted further infront than the b18c, but if i didnt hear so many ppl diss the h22a in civic swap i wud definetly get one, the amount of torque wud be such a rush hehe.

Well i'm sure you could adjust the suspension handling to compensate for the understeer from the overpowering front end.

god damit couldnt u guys post this earlier this year
i allways have so many regrets
looking at this thread i would definetely jump into a h22 if i hadnt so many b18 parts
with only 30kg more and so much n/a potential in a 2200cc
and great motor placement for less weelspin and exelent 1/4mile potential
    and no boost lag,
with about 4k of good mods u would run 12s or even 11s wat a spinout
wakeup - will u really need all that handling on the street? opposed to 12sec car
which will still be able to turn at a desent speed
and with lsd just ease ur foot in on the turns and ur fine

yess finally ppl are realizing how awesome h22a's are.. whoever said low 14s in a civic with i/h/e obviously got times from someone who couldnt drive.. my friend (j-specAccord) has a completely stock (other than a pod filter) jdm h22a in his 94 accord and he pulled a 14.4. and accords weigh almost 300kg more than civics.

50kg CAN make a difference but it depends how it is distributed in the car. To reduce understeer you can do the following

    - Better tyres
    - 1 degree negative camber on the front
    - Get some adjustable caster bushes and wind on more caster
    - Bigger swaybars all around, but have the fronts a bit softer then the rears
    - Have the front tyre pressures a bit higher then the rear, 2psi is a good difference

    Cheers
