The K24 Engine gives the K20 a very good run for its money

Whilst the k20 engine has more Peak power, look at the torque difference the k24 engine makes !! And look how much sooner the k24 engine makes power compared to the highly modified k20 engine.

Both run’s cars were dyno'ed in 4th gear

    K20 setup
    Toda Headers
    Hondata K100 ECU
    Custom 2.5” exhaust
    Injen Intake

More comparisons comments and information on the k24 engine can be found here,

The future is the K engine from Honda !

Yeah the K24 is a very toquey monster… like I said within my article, slap on a k20 head and add boost… and watch out !!
Its even more interesting when you compare the K24 with a b18/b16h22 etc

That dyno sheet doesn't really prove... anything... :S
Once you factor in gearing, the K24 isn't gonna do much better down low than the K20... and once it gets it's power on, the K20 is just gonna be gone.

K24 would make a better runabout engine though. But if you really want torque, get a turbo engine.

    I've seen a DC5R slapped with a CRV bottom end which I believe is a K24....
