    theres no timeslip for the car, its never been to the track. its been dynoed (dont quote me on this) but i think it had 300+ Nm of torque??
    oh, one more thing, my brother usually drives it around or his gf's youngfer brother... theyre the ones that race it (without her knowledge :shock: )

    sorry, but i was just wondering... is it normal for a eg with a vtir engine transplant to chop or beat a V8 SS ute? i spose the eg's lighter than the teg vtir, but when eric (fried) took on an SS last wk apparently it was pretty close and the dude wasnt even trying.....
    jus wondering.... ? :roll:

    all really depends on the guy drivin the SS (and the EG), but u'd think a 5.sumfin Litre V8 would beat a 4 cylinder comfortably...

    yeah what SS was it??? VX VY?? the one i raced was 5.0 VS SS auto.. so yeah.. if ure mate raced a 5.7L VX or VY manual ute.. then that would b a diff story....

    they would defin. haul a$$.... and would most probably beat an EG with a vti-r conversion.. no doubt!!

    well thats what i've got... personally i think if it was a VX or
    VY manual SS ute... it would woop my ass...!!! 255Kw stock in a ute.. compared to 127Kw stock in a 990kg civic... hmm maybe 1 - 1.5 car lengths...?? who knows... my opnion!! :wink:

    b18c will beat it

    i dot dc2 vtir and i beat 5L V8 all da time
    but current SS, which is 5.7L V8 i cant beat

    but im sure wen i get me headers i will
