It seems Honda can't keep a good hatch down. After quashing expectations that the funky European Civic hatch was a starter for Australia (a victim of unfavourable exchange rates), the corporate line has softened."Honda Australia is currently investigating the feasibility of importing the United Kingdom-built Civic hatch and Type R to join the . . . Civic sedan," the company said this week.
The Type R Concept, said to be a close relative of the 2007 production version, will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
