    Weird Turbo Noise

    Hey guys,
Ive come across a little issue, when im driving and the car starts to spool... it spools and as soon as it comes into boost it sounds like there is air leaking from the turbo...
Im not sure what this could be...

    Any ideas?

    air leaking?? lol

look for leaks in ur couplers. look for leaks in ur gaskets all around the turbo. if its a high pitched screach, its ur turbo bearings.

Hey if its like a scratching noise, sorta like a screech when the turbo kicks in, does that mean its really bad?

yep. if it screaches it mens there is metal on metal contact. just make sure u dont have exhaust leaks/piping leaks as sometimes they can copy-cat the noises.

DOesnt anybody read anymore? i already told you how to check the turbo ffs.

u can also pull the intake/charge and exhaust pipes off and look for oil. feel the shaft for any in and out place, along with side to side and make sure the turbo isnt touching the housing.

Which is why you should be driving a camry and not a turbo honda. Please go fork out heaps of money on people checking out your car; It makes me feel better about how much I spend on mine and how much I save by actually reading things on the internet rather than ignoring advice and opening the wallet instead.
