    99 v6 accord rebuild...

    well 200,000kms is enough so i wanna rebuild it,mild cam,port and polish,nothin drastic...these engines are new to me so wot to do and wot cost...

    Are you having any problems with that engine as 200k is really not that much.

    Basic rebuild with those mods would be 3-4kUSD, that's new bearings, seals, rings, full cleaning, hone, decking, valve freshening, cams $300USD +), and the PnP (about $600USD +). A full rebuild is $5kUSD + and has new pistons, rotating mass balance, crank regrind if needed, rods machined if needed, new valves if needed, bore/hone, and everything in the basic rebuild and more. The cams start at $300USD and go up. It also depends on how aggressive the PnP is. A basic gasket match is $400-750USD and a full, really aggressive PnP can get up to $1500-2kUSD. Then there is shipping if needed and outside labor and machining. I hope that helps. It will be different as some shops charge different labor rates and have different costs for parts.
