G-games. How to tell real from replicas?

    hi,

I am trying to get the originals off someone on the net but don't wanna end up paying for the replicas..anyone can offer their help on distinguishing between the 2?

As far as I know, the replicas look exactly the same as the originals.

    thanks.

    hi aka_nsx,

is that ur blue nsx at scw too?

I walk past that place everyday when I go to work.

Any pics on those stickers? Can they be removed?

I was also told that the center cap size is smaller for the REAL, REPLICA center hole is bigger.

    How true is this?

    Thanks.

Replicas often only come in a single offset/width suited to a large range of cars.

Originals will also have a placard sticker on the inside more often than not.

i onced owned a set of replica G-games. the only difference that i saw was that the centre cap did not say RAYS and the real ones do.
also, the genuine RAYS wheels always have specifcations on the inside of the rim. the replicas dont.
the real ones are also lighter than the replicas..
    hope that helps

yeh real ones only have 1 type of stud pattern, and the fake ones tend to have two differnet stud patterns on them.

nah that one is my friend one click here

yeah thats probably true too coz the replica one is trying to get the size that suit for every car so they make the center hub bigger, but not sure
