    Chrome damage

    Chromes with sharp edges are considered highly dangerous as they can pop the tyre? Is this correct? My mate has one damaged wheel and was wondering if its ok to fit one?

    Edit - damaged as in a slight chunk missing with sharp edge as a result

    Post a photo. Then we can make a judgement.

    If he's damaged the rim like you've explained then it's definitely a problem.
