    chipped rims after tyre change?

I found that my new rims have got a few chips after I went to put on tyres at the tyre shop!

must have been caused by the tools the mechanic used to put in the tyre..

do you guys get it when u change the tyres? or its purely the fault of my crappy and "unskillful" mechanic?

it depends, some places take more care when they fit tyres, other don't.

You probably shoulda told them straight away. but now that its too late, nothing much you can do about it.

where did you get it done?

generally large chains like bob jane are very careful with that kinda stuff as they have more of a name to uphold. plus being a big chain they're more likely to have people bitch about it
