    Recommended Tyre Sizes

    Hi guys

this is some research i have done, just wanna share it with you guys.....

can increase or decreease overall size by 15mm from stock wheels

    stock jazz vti & GLi = 175/65/14 = 583.10
    stock jazz vti-s = 185/55/15 = 584.50

    215/45/16 = 599.90
    215/40/16 = 578.40
    205/45/16 = 590.90

    205/40/17 = 595.80

so if anyone wanna upgrade wheels on a honda jazz or similar can refer to this for info on what tyres they can use in order for the car to be legal...

someone post this in the jazz tips and useful section

    cheers

    185/55/15 = 559.1
    195/50/15 = 550.6
    195/55/15 = 570.1 I am currently running these on my 15x6.5
205/55/15 = 581.10 This is proablly the best tyres to run

U mean the 2nd figure? It's the sidewall height calculated from percentage of the width. So 185/55R15 -> sidewall height = .55 x 185

This is a good website to read about tyre:
    http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbi...yre_bible.html
    Use the calculator there.

Another option for 185/55R15 upgrade would be 195/45R15
    205/45R16 = 590.90
    195/45R16 = 581.90, which is closer to 584.50 from 185/55R15
It makes the car lower too because the wheel is slightly smaller.. few 1-2 mm only

i plan to get some 16" wheels
which of the following sizes would be the easiest to find for 16"?
    215/45/16 = 599.90
    215/40/16 = 578.40
    205/45/16 = 590.90
cuz i know all of the above sizes are pretty hard to find
