    s2000 steering wheel on a dc2r??

Hey, just wondering if any1 what the Diameter on the s2000 wheel is. It looks pretty small. The reason Why i'm asking is I want a smaller diameter steering wheel on my dc2r, but want to keep the air bag

The S2000 wheel looks pretty neat and small. Will it directly fit onto my dc2r???? I remember once I seen in a HOT4's magazine, this guy with a Yellow civic coupe Vti, with a buddy club body kit on it put a S2000 Steering wheel on his car. I think Civic and dc2's have the same hub frame, so i'm gueesing the wheel will fit????????

    Just need some confirmation...

one thing to keep in mind, DC2 has the airbag with ECU bolted to the back of it,
the S2000 wheel is just an airbag with the SRS ECU on the chassis

the EK's are like the DC2 with the SRS ECU on the airbag, you must be thinking about the US built EM ( civic coupe ) which has only an airbag in the wheel, thats why you can fit CTR and S2000 wheels to them.

im not sure if the DC2R is different to the DC2 and has the SRS ECU on the chassis, if it does you could change to s S2000 or CTR wheel

Nahh, I've got an Aus HOT4s Mag, with a Aus Model Vti Coupe. To be exactly sure I searched through my old pile of Hot4's Magazines and found the ISSUE!! Its issue number 94.(issue with WRX 2003 Car of the year in front of it) Its a 1998 Civic Vti Coupe. The only thing is it doesn't say how he got it on there!!, i don't know if he modified it or not to get it on there. But i don't think he did.

Let me know if someone knows for sure!! =)

aus spec VTi coupe was built in US, thats why it will have the SRS ECU on the chassis

i'm not 100% sure on if it is actually smaller but i know from seeing it done to a civic it definatly feels smaller and more comfortable.... either a dc5r wheel or a s2000 wheel would be good for wat i'm after so if anyone knows if it can be done to my dc2 then share the info!! thanks...

there is a plastic cover on the side of the wheel that comes off easy. It has a yellow connector, connecting some electrical wires. Is this it? if so i'll take a photo of it. I dont' have to take the wheel apart to take a photo do it???
