    Baffled Sump, oil cooler, another set of rims + semi slicks. Use left over money to enter track days.

    Here is what I would do:

    Coilovers: approx $2500
    Sway bars: approx $500
    Strut braces: approx $500
    Hondata ECU: I dunno, but I would guess $1500?

    And there is your $5000 gone I would also stretch the budget a bit more and get a good CAI

    From a DC5R owner's perspective I'd go:

    rear sway $225
    coilovers $1800
    CAI $400+
    K100 ECU (hondata) ~$1500 incl tuning I think
    then probably good tyres ~$1k

    or if u want some looks - 17" rims....

    I bought my DC5R Stock. Under Steers bad, Breaks traction like a MF! The power of the car stock is more then enough. Plus you got Exhaust mods which boost your top end. What you really need is to put the power down properly.
    Changing your intake on a DC5 will send your economy down the drain even further and offer you mild performance gain with-out a ECU upgrade.
    I recommend these mods;
    1 - Coilovers- Adjustable Shock and Spring ($2500)
    2 - Strut Bars and Tie Bars ($1000)
    3 - Better Pads and/or Slotted Rotors (Front $250-1000)
    4 - Most important High Performance Street Tyres ($1000+) Eg, Potenza, Advan's!

    Do all this and the car feels different all together. Doesnt drive no-way near the day I bought it.

    With more balance you'll get more control. With this setup you can easily step on accelerator while corning and zip away on the streets easily at higher speeds. Tune the Coils for track day and the car will be an Animal. Ask the people who went to Winton in March. My Stock performance DC5R chopped 99% of the cars out there. Purely on Suspension mods and tyres!

    ... the decision has been made

    Thanks for all the response guys - it's always interesting to see the viewpoints of other enthusiasts, and I have to say that quite a few of you had quite a bit of influence on the choices I'm making with my money - so with no further ado - here's what I've decided on:

    * Buddy Club N+ Coilovers
    * Hondata K100 + Dyno Tune
    * Injen CAI
    * Whiteline Rear Sway

    I can't wait!
