Who has fitted an AVO turbo kit to their car?

Just wondering if you received injectors that were of the same style as oem. I received bosch style injectors that dont like to fit in nicely.

I've not seen larger injectors that are identical to stock (doesn't mean they don't exist). The RC Eng injectors are made by Lucas and are taller and fatter. You use two large o-rings at the base and spacers on the fuel rail mounting studs and bolts. You also have to cut off the Honda connectors and solder on the RC ones.

But it's not a huge job.

Rochester injectors dropped right in on mine, they were 680's, so injectors do exist that are identical in fitment to stock.

Havent had any experience with the Bosch ones however

So they just go straight in, same connectors and everything?

mine did with no modifications, same connectors. The DSM's from memory need a slight modification to the seal that goes into the runner but the connector should be the same.

The connectors need to be changed with OBD2 cars, on OBD1 cars you shouldnt need to change them.

Ahh, I've read guys in the states buy the injector harness from an OBD1 Civic and splice it in place of the S2000's OBD2 one. So I assume on an OBD1 Civic wouldn't require additional connectors for the RCs.

im using GTR injectors and there the same as stock only slightly taller, but its not too hard to make spacers from a few bitz from a hardware store.

i run Bosch 363s and had to modify the rail slightly to fit them.. There taller and required bigger o-ring and lifting of the rail. Not too hard to fit though
