Thread: VTEC SCREAM..

    Hey guyz,
    i just would like to know how i can get a really loud vtec scream on a 93 VTIR?
    i have a stock exhaust atm and need sum help on how to get better vtec sound. im planning to put on a muffler soon....any help would be great..and was just wounderin would a VTEC AFC make the vtec sound any better?...thank guyz..=]

    Take exhaust system off completely - will scream like a bitch guaranteed
    Or, stick on a shitty, obnoxiously loud local muffler
    Or, remove resonator in middle of B-Pipe...

    VAFC alters air:fuel ratios and VTEC HiCam engagment point.. not sound

    my brother has an air k and n air filter on his, seems to have a louder grunt then usual.

    KnN air filter and get rid of the plastic piping and get some stainless piping
    look good and will be heaps louder!

    let me know if you want any piping done, a friend of mine does all that stuff!

    Intake / Header / Exhaust and you"ll get some good flow and a great sound with the right exhaust choice.

    Apexi N1 seems to have a good reputation. All depends on your budget.

    Best start is a pod filter. K&N / ARC provide good flow and a good sound.
