    Replacing Seals from doors

    i was just wondering if anyone has replaced these before? mines all dried and cracked as you can see, and was wondering how you can remove it

    i tried yanking it out but that didnt help

    also was wondering how much it would cost from honda or from a wreckers

    heres a pic to show you what im talking about

    Mine also look alot like that, I'd consider pulling them out (must be possible) and
    1. Getting rid of all the black stuff and going chrome (meh)
    2. removing the old stuff and respraying it again with a newer stronger compound.

    Yeah, just sand it back and respray it black again......one of my friends did it on his in matt black, just makes it look clean again

    hey thanks guys, found out how to rip it out...

    resprayed it and it looks fine

    dont you just open the door and theres about 3/4 screws to undo and then it comes off? well thats how i do it on the EG Civic.

    I replaced all mine cost me just around $125 for each trim. but i was dam happy with the result!
