I'm getting quotes and the moment to get my car re-sprayed either

1/ Candy Apple Red
2/ Dark Green/Blue colour (changes depending on light)

Also getting a kit has come into mind, what do you all think of this kit?
Kit

I've also looked at online performance place but they don't give to much information about there kits!
Price's are on the sight and are:
Off the shelf bodykits:
Front Bar: $400-500
Side Skirts: $300-380
Rear Bar: $400-500

Is that expensive ?

Nah those prices are average for kits.

But i heard Jetspeed have a bad reputation for making kits which fit poorly, same for Carmate as well.

Well who would you recommened?

Im not really sure.

When i went to a place in Adelaide to fit my Fibremotive sideskirts on, they told me they dont wanna touch it, cos companies like Fibremotive and Jetspeed have dodgy products and its hard to fit them, therefore costing more to cut and modify it.

Why dont u go on Fast Fours or Hot 4s and ask ppl who have had their kits from there, and what places are best.

Give Online a call, their kits are well made from what i have seen of them. Jetspeed kits are flimsy, while the Fibremotive kits i have seen have been pretty well made.

Hey

BodyKits, the best I've seen for the 3rd gens are here

http://www.onlineperformance.com.au/presage/

They want

$280 x2 for front and back
$120 x2 for two side skirts

but that is $$US... so I would just give 'em a call.

I've done a budget job with some epoxy resin and wire mesh to the front grill, I'll take a pik and post it for a laugh

I really hope you find a kit that will not require extensive modification to fit properly. It can add up into the $100's for modifications to make it fit. Many fibreglass copy kits will not fit/sit right without cutting/shaving/forcing it on. Also look carefully at the surface finish of the kit. Any dents, scratches, cracks, thin fibreglass areas will need to addressed which again can add even more cost.

jetspeeds material is very thin, seems to bend easily. Carmate arent that bad, i have a few friends who have bought kits off them and the material seems pretty strong and solid
