    Cam For Civic

    hey all i have a D16Y4 99 civic hatch and have been searching every where
    for cams
    does anyone know of a place that HAS done a regrind or a billet or does any other cams fit the D16Y4

    only want a mild cam E.G street strip
    ALL help will be appreciated

    i know crower sell at a D16Y8 cam's. but im not sure if this would fit ur d16y4 or not?

    nah they havent done anything for it yet. ive tried tiegh, crow, comp and a few others. i was hoping that someone has allready done and can help out

    there is only 1 off the shelf/regrind i know of and thats a JG cam. but i think it might be discontinued. it will need to be custom..

    in the end though, a good upgrade is a mini-me conversion and it come cost ui much more

    a mini-me conversion is not an engine conversion. It's keep your engine and just putting on a SOHC Vtec head. Probably your best option in getting something out of your current engine.

    OK then so how much $$$ would i be looking at to do a mini-me conversion? and exactly what will be reqiered

    and what are the pro's and cons as i'm thinking about it very hard
    and the second is it easy to convert
